Throughout her 30 years in meetings and hospitality, Beth has been a passionate advocate for the industry, celebrating the remarkable value that meetings and events bring to our individual and collective lives. Having secured thousands of programs in hundreds of destinations, she firmly believes  the success of any meeting is directly related to the time spent in the earliest stages of meeting development as it brings such clarity to the overall strategy and sourcing. With that sentiment in mind, Beth founded Global Meetings Portfolio in 2014 under a simple guiding principle: “It’s not about what we have in our portfolio, it’s about what you need to make your meeting a success.”

The company offers meeting organizers a boundless network of hotels and qualified DMC resources, and Beth takes pride in engaging both customers and partners to create memorable, valuable, amazing experiences. Whether in Dubai, Boston, Marrakesh, or Miami, she fosters a wealth of connections that result in an abundance of creative solutions that are sure to breathe life to every program.

With 15 years of experience on property, Beth understands the effect a meeting has on a hotel’s operation and revenues. And with another 15 years in national sales for both hotels and DMCs, she’s a natural at problem-solving, qualifying, negotiating, contracting, and partnerships. During her professional life with Sheraton, Sonesta Hotels, Associated Luxury Hotels International, Krisam Group, and Global Events Partners, Beth also invested her energy and skill to the educational side of meeting management, serving for 10 years as an instructor in Meetings Management Certificate Programs at Bentley University and Northeastern University. Her 22-year membership in Meeting Professionals International includes nine years on the MPI New England Board of Directors and one year as New England Chapter President.

The industry continues to grow and change—consolidation creates mega-brands, software drives pricing metrics, and automated sourcing brings the promise of efficiency.
